our approach to weight loss is different

A lot of clients who come to us have tried to lose weight over a long period of time with limited or short term success. They’re disappointed in themselves, deeply frustrated and baffled by their inability to succeed in this area of their life when in other areas they can set goals and achieve what they want. 

We don’t give nutritional advice, we don’t recommend a diet, or specific way of eating. We don’t set up an exercise program for you. We don’t help you set (yet another) goal and urge you into taking immediate action. 

There are many different ways to achieve weight loss – all the information is out there on the internet, and if you are honest with yourself you probably know WHAT to do, you just struggle with making yourself do it in a consistent and sustainable way so as to get to your goal weight and maintain it over time.

The WE MIND weight loss program will first address the hidden motivators of your behavious. You have saboteurs of your success of which you are unaware, and they are keeping you stuck in an endless loop of effort and preventing you from creating sustainable results.

You have no idea what is working against you or why you struggle so much.

Let’s deal with that first

Leaving these underlying beliefs in place while trying to achieve your goal is like Houdini trying to escape knots he can’t see or feel. How could he do that?  Impossible, right?

Your underlying beliefs mean that you can’t source power or vision outside of yourself, get past linear ways of thinking or see resources and opportunities that will take you where you want to go. Based on your past failed efforts, you have old stories about yourself – who you are and what is possible in your life. 

All your action so far reinforces your old story. 

The magic of being free from the knots of your stories by identifying and changing the underlying beliefs is that you will finally unlock your potential. You will have the power to solve problems, see new ways of doing things that will get you where you want to go faster and opportunities will suddenly (magically) appear. 

The invisible barriers that have been holding you back will have dissolved.

Suzi’s story:

I’m passionate about health and wellness, and have been since 2004 when I faced a health challenge with chronic fatigue syndrome.

That was a real wake up call!

I realised my health was my real wealth and after recovering, all my efforts have been directed at proactively protecting my health. It is much easier to stay well than to try and recover your health once you have lost it. Staying well means managing my thyroid problem and staying on top of my weight. 

Over the last 20 years I’ve read over hundred books, watched videos, read blog posts, subscribed to newsletters and I keep on educating myself about the latest research and breakthroughs in the areas of health and wellness.

Already a qualified counsellor, I trained as a life coach in 2013 and a holobody (holistic body) wellness coach in 2022.
